Do you know what a "Candy Cane Really is"? Many years ago a candy maker wanted to make candy that would symbolize the true meaning of Christmas-Which is "Jesus" The hard candy was shaped like a " J " to represent that Jesus is our rock of all ages. The candy was white, that stands for the pureness of Jesus, and the red represents the blood that Jesus shed to save us from our sins. So the next time you see a candy cane, take a minute to remember the real meaning of 'Christmas'. I would like to see all my friends re-post this for all their friends to share..

Robeson County, NC - Emergency! Chained Chocolate Lab Mama w/ 11 puppies wandering free!!! Very much in danger!!!!
11 precious puppies and mama currently in Red Springs NC (Robeson County), this is about 20 miles from Lumberton; 20 miles from Exit 20 off of I-95.
Mama appears to be a chocolate lab mix. Her owner have agreed to give them all up
We do not know who the daddy is but it could be pit, although these puppies do not appear to be pit puppies to me. Their fur is too wavy and thick.
Frances will be going on Monday to check on them. She gave the owner some food and asked that mama be fed more, since babies are taking away all of her nutrients.
If anyone has any suggestions on who to contact; I know everyone is overcrowded, no funds and no fosters, but I have to try to help this mama and these little ones. I can't bear to look at the photos. As I think of all of the homeless and neglected pets that I've helped over this past year- when I think of all of my beloved pets and all of my friends' & family's pets that are so well taken care of and spoiled rotten- while I am so thankful for all of this- something about the joy in all of that is taken away when I look into these sweet faces.
