Face the facts, the Dem's are not the key cause of big gov and debt. In fact, the debt climbed the most under Rep leaders through history - they just spend it on different things. Bush took a Dem led surplus into the biggest debt ever and setup policies that triggered the recession that required even more debt early in Obama's term. Some let Bush of the hook w the war, but why give tax cuts to the rich during a war instead of paying for it. And thru delusional practices didn't count war debt in the budget as if it were a short term expense. 10 years and over $1T is hardly short.
Now the Rep's won't negotiate a fairer tax law that would require those who gained the most to help with the debt. If they get control, you know who WILL pay and it won't be the top. It will be to social security, HC, education, aid to the poor and cuts to those who can least afford it. They call it "entitlements" (that we all paid for while we worked), but they call tax cuts for the top they call "job creation" when it fact it only created the greatest wealth divide in history. 1984 New-Speak .... to control the way the population perceives and hides the truth.
Being honest may not get you a lot of friends but it'll always get you the right ones.
