Gerry, a resident of Spring Hill, and dedicated member of Northcliffe Baptist Church (21 years), was born March 31, 1930, in Columbus, GA. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 63 years, Verne; three daughters, Catherine McDonald, Sandra Legg and Madeline Schellhorn; sister Eugenia Greksa; grandchildren, Allan McDonald, Richard McCall, Jason Legg, Sara LaVoie, and Amy Lanham and 10 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Gerry's life will be held at 11 am on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011, at Northcliffe Baptist Church, 10515 Northcliffe Blvd., Spring Hill.
