John Camacho Shew Jr This is A POST for Rachael Hamilton, my beautiful and caring girl friend...please help if you can...even just one dollar would be helpful!!! This isn't something I normally do, but oh well :) As some of you know, I'm going on a week-long trip to Danli, Honduras next month with Rotary International. There's about 40 people going, we're sending a medical team, a clean water team, and a team to work on a school (not sure which team I am on yet). This is my first time doing anything like this, so I can't speak to any personal past experience, but I feel like it's going to be life-changing. I just feel very passionate that people have a right to have basic needs met, needs that we take for granted here, (clean fresh water, simple medication, a place to be educated) and I want to be a part of making that happen. The total cost of the trip is about $1300 (plane ticket/lodging/food/transportation), excluding an unpaid week off from work. The Franklin Rotary Club has generously donated $500, but I still need some more help. That being said, if anybody wants to donate to a great cause, I would really appreciate it! It's cliche, but every bit really does help (and to break it down a little, if every friend on facebook donated $3.50 my goal would be met! Amazing :) So, if anyone would like to help, just send me a msg and I will let you know where to send donations. Bear with me, because I will probably repost/update this as the trip gets closer.
