Brenda Notah Good morning family & friends....a strange thing happened to me early this morning around 5:15 am after the alarm went off. I thought I would just sleep alittle more and just when I was dozing off....I felt a really warm hand on my cheek. I thought it was my hubby checking to see if I was cold (we use wood stove for warmth). When we got up @ 7 am, I asked why he touch my cheeks and he said he didn't. Then he said "Babe that was your Mom, Dad or even the Lord himself" letting you know they are here to tell you everything will be fine and not to worry so much about material things because life is more important and can't be replaced but material things can be replaced. I really feel I've been bless by that special touch and I swear it did happen cuz I actually felt my parents and the Lord's hand. I just wanted to share this special and glorious moment with you all. God bless each and everyone of you, take care of each other, your children and grandchildren. Love you all!! I do miss my parents so much and love them with all my heart....THANK YOU MOM & DAD (crying now) for giving me life and in return allowing me to give my beautiful children (Allen, Shanna, Jay & Sherri) life as well as my beautiful grandchildren (Marcus, Noah, Mekhi & Kamara).

In the face of suffering, we should follow Christ's example.
INSIGHT
Life is often very trying whether you are a Christian or not. Difficult circumstances fall on the righteous and unrighteous alike. However, the Christian life often adds to our difficulties. We may be discriminated against because of our faith, or our beliefs may eliminate the "easy" ways out of a problem. But Christ does not ask us to suffer anything for Him that He was not willing to suffer for us. Someday we will be rewarded for our diligence and faith.
PRAYER
Praise the Lord that He is completely in control of your life:
Your testimonies are wonderful;
Therefore my soul keeps them.
The entrance of Your words gives light;
It gives understanding to the simple. . . .
Redeem me from the oppression of man,
That I may keep Your precepts.

Sandi Rahuba You ask yourself why do hairstylists "charge so much" for doing your hair ... They don't get paid vacation, they don't get paid sick days, they don't get bonuses for outstanding performances nor for Christmas. They don't have insurance plans nor do they qualify for unemployment. They sacrifice their family on special days so that they can bring happiness to others. Illness or personal affairs are not excuses for a bad haircut/color. Next time you ask, remember that hairdressers are hairdressers because of the love of doing hair, but that love doesn't pay debts. Happy hairstylist's Day!!
